Itsy, Bitsy, Spider...

I saw this little fella building a web between two of our Arbor Vitae this morning and thought, "Eeeeek, a spider!" "...get the 100 Macro and some extension tubes!"

Shot handheld with a Canon EOS 5D MKII and Canon 100mm Macro f/2.8 L with 48mm of extension tubes.

Quick tip: Try different angles even if you think you have already "nailed" the shot. I was very happy with my early captures, but the last angle from my neighbor's side of the fence provided a much more dramatic, backlit view.
