Our fears confirmed.......

Four co-workers and I all drive the same route to work each day (separately). This morning we all noticed covered contstruction signs leading up to a very old set of bridges that we cross every morning. Near the bridges, originally built in 1924, were barricades like these set off to the side of the road. Yikes, what did that mean?

When we looked into it this morning, our fears were realized when we found the newspaper notice that the bridges will be closed for repairs tomorrow. This means that we have to take a much longer route to work tomorrow morning through the city. I guess we should be happy that it is only a one-day project but for someone who is NOT a morning person, an earlier start of about 30 minutes is not easy!

Gotta love road construction.....it's everywhere in the summer!!
