Getting There

In all the excitement surrounding my 100th blip, I forgot to mention that the clicker training is going incredibly well!

We had our second lesson on Sunday and Candi, the instructor, has been totally awesome. She recognised that Paddington was nervous about the training environment and simply gave him more space and freedom to move. He has settled down a lot in class and is very quick to understand what is expected of him... he's now even getting excited when he sees the clicker being taken out the cupboard at home!

I would recommend this type of traing to anybody, as it's all about positive reinforcement, no punishment and therefore mutual respect between dog and owner:) Paddington seems to be enjoying the structure and is now clearly less intimidated by the whole thing, knowing that nothing bad is going to happen to him. I'm so proud of my big boy!

(Baloo is also doing really well with the training. He had his stitches out on Monday and is as crazy as ever!)
