Yesterday's cleaning frenzy paid off, it's all nice and tidy (at least for a few hours!), and the grandparents have arrived.
Started off with German cakes, then a walk to the park, which was lovely.
Followed by big German style dinner (rolls, meats, cheeses and salad), I am now ready to collapse into bed.
Am having a glass of red, but this was slightly spoiled by the Scottish chat that after going after the smoking, drinking was now the target and especially the drinking habits pursued by the middle classes - in other words, my very housewifey self!
Damn it.
