Cabbage white butterfly

This is a really small butterfly and very prolific in this area. I think it is pretty prolific in much of the world, but I could be wrong. Even though it is a common sight, I think it is a lovely one. Something else I learned about photographing butterflies is the importance of a background that is clutter-free with little to distract the viewer.
