Hadrian's Wall path
This is the wall and path just after it passes our farmhouse and heads down onto the valley floor. At the end of the wall are the remains of a roman bridge - 2000 years ago the river flowed past them, but over the years it has carved into the far bank and moved westwards so that the bridge remains are now stranded in the field.
