Pops plays "shut the box"

Our last day in Pennsylvania and here is my father in law whom I call "Pops" playing a game called Shut the Box. We all got hooked on this game and rather addicted to it. Gander successfully "shut it" twice and myself once. It was almost impossible to roll the dice to be able to get it done:) My mother in law said it was a game played by sailors at sea.
