Basalt boulders

Wellington's Botanical Gardens has a number of large sculptures, nestled below tall trees on a spur above Anderson Park.

This sculpture, by Chris Booth, caught my eye as I wandered up a path. It is called 'Peacemaker', and is formed from large basalt boulders, gifted by the Ngati Kura people of Matauri Bay, Northland.
