Selfishness...

is a kitten named Malachai.

Even though my youngest may have a cat allergy, this week I have got a kitten. I've also got an allergy reliever, air ioniser and piriton.

I rehomed my 2 cats last summer, a few months after Tabitha was born, She was showing signs of having an allergy,and after speaking to health professionals, it was decided rehoming them was for the best. Her symptoms cleared up, and I tried to get used to being a cat free house.

Spring came round and Tabitha's symptoms returned. I thought maybe she has hayfever as well. Then I thought a bit more and that maybe it was just hayfever. So,after seeing how she reacts to people who have been around cats,and taking her to a couple of houses with cats, we've taken the plunge.

So far,she seems fine. The cat is having a really positive effect on my youngest son and I feel calmer after having a snuggle and a stroke of the kitten. Fingers crossed.
