boredom.

Noticed this little doodle on one of my library books today and it made me smile for some reason. Someone feeling a bit like I am today maybe. Lost amidst a pile of books and papers and notes.

I'm meant to be writing an essay about some of the *theoretical concepts* and *analytic processes* that define occupational therapy and I'm feeling a bit lost in the middle of it all.

I have to say though, despite being lost I do really like what the profession stands for. This whole essay is about the meaning of occupation both to our self-identity and to our health and wellbeing. The importance of having a balance of work and play in our lives. Maybe that's why we all love blip so much. It gives us all a little purpose each day, a little bit of meaning, or a lot of meaning, and is a little bit of play to balance out our work.

I like that.
