Barbeque Zone

Quick look down the seafont this morning to try and investigate reports of a dinosaur lurking about on Southsea Common. Emma had taken Oliver to see Astroboy while I went for my final medical before leaving the Royal Navy. This gave me a bit of time to kill and seek out todays blip. I've put the dinosaurs over on flikr after noticing this sign on the way back to the car. Couldn't help the irony of this as its been anything but a bbq summer - unless you were lucky enough to have time off during June and the early part of July. Back to the dinosaurs, this was a project by Aspex Gallery, Portsmouths leading art gallery. This dinosaur is due to leave Portsmouth and visit Cardiff in the Autumn - unless Portmouth locals have their wish granted to keep him here.

Managed to get back in the car just before it started to rain. Luckily it was just a passing shower. However, as this photo depicts, I wasn't expecting too see too many barbeques today.
