Lily in the rain

Oh, the weather outside is frightful....

Ok, I know, it's not actually snowing, or at least it isn't outside my back door. I can't speak for everybody else around the world! But just what kind of weather is this for an English summer???!

My lilies are doing well, despite the determined and persistent rain that falls on this part of Lancashire, in fact all parts of Lancashire and pretty much the rest of the UK!

I would love to be able to sit back in the warmth of the sun, with a good book, a chilled glass of wine and take in their gorgeous perfume.

I can be patient though!
