John Cleese co-wrote a book called "Families and How To Survive Them". In it there was an experiment that involved no language. Simply guys and girls filing into a room and pairing off based on looks and expressions alone. After, when they analysed the pair offs, they found that the couples were surprisingly compatible, based on their psychological frameworks.
