Saffron finch coconut bird feeder Kona Hawai'i

Saffron finches were introduced to Hawai'i in the 1960's and have spread widely competing with native species.

Lots of birds came to the coconut bird feeders at the small hotel where we stayed. Couldn't get it very sharp as the coconut was swinging and the light was very low in the shade of a large tree.
