Camping

First time camping in about a year - how sad. Guess we've just had a crazy busy summer. Went to our usual spot near Granite Falls, WA. Lovely spot, free, private, next to the river and perfect amount of tree cover. It was a scorching 95F (about 35C) in Seattle and we have no AC, so camping was perfect.

Our friends T&K came camping and we had a lovely time chatting/eating/drinking and dipping into the icy cold waters. I actually tried to walk in (while I was still in my bathing suit under my shorts and tank top), and proceeded to slip/fall in neck deep - takes the breath away. It was delightful and refreshing, except for all the deer flies. Those are some nasty buggers.

I love camping and sleeping in the out of doors.
