(A)piers to be about to rain!

As it was a sunny start to the day, and I had Cabin Fever due to yesterday's long working day,I decided to take an extended cycle ride on my way to work as far as the promenade near the South Pier at Blackpool.

However, It suddenly became very humid and dark grey clouds began to roll in off the Irish Sea. The Gull clearly knew what was about to happen.. and sure enough, not for the first time, this summer, hosed down.

Fortunately, I took heed of Mr Gull and found shelter beforehand. Gulls know weather.
