Today's flat maintenance problem is a relatively easy one. As you can see by this photo the paintwork on our sash and case windows is severely suffering. Knowing it will only get worse through the winter, we've decided to get something done about it. Whilst yes, we could probably successfully strip and paint windows ourselves, I'd rather not be up a ladder, leaning out of an open window, 4 floors up. We'll leave that to the professionals. Maybe they'll clean them for us too!

Thankfully a quick google brings up lots of companies in Edinburgh that should be able to do this for us (however if any Edinburgh blippers reading this have had sash window work done and can recommend someone, that would be nice).

Quiet day today. The Boy has been waiting for a parcel to be redelivered that we missed yesterday. Unfortunately for him, he was greated at the stair door by the delivery guy as he went to work, equally unfortunate for him, I found this hilarious!
