I've got a new theory about the Royal Mile during the festival. Well, at least one that applies to me.

And no, its not about avoiding eye contact with the eager flyer people so that you don't get any flyers.

Its that on my wanders I take better pictures on the way up the Royal Mile rather than on the way down.

Maybe its because I always go down the hill and then back up again and by the time I am going back to the office I've warmed up (or am desperate for a blip).

Weird.

Anyway - caught these two watching a street performer and it made me think of fringe festivals of yesteryear! [It's actually the two gents from the "Time Travelling Magicians]
