Self Portrait in Mirrored Art Piece
I took in the Oakland Museum of California today. The last time I was there, the fire alarm sounded after I had been inside ten minutes and I left. This is a mirrored sculpture. From some angles it was totally mirrored and from others one could see through it. The art objects on the right were seen through it. I am still uncomfortable in front of the lens, even if I'm the photographer, so I'm pushing my comfort zone here in quadruplicate.
After returning home this afternoon, I shopped at Costco, where I found very few things on my list. It took much longer than I anticipated because they had moved everything around since the last time I was there. I hate it when stores do that! Then I was off to Office Depot where I still couldn't find what I wanted, and the clerk took 15 minutes to look for it and then told me they didn't have it. I hate it when stores do that too.!
