Volcano!

OK - so answers to yesterday's competition.
It was a Reaction Control System (RCS) fitted to the Apollo CSM (Command and service module). Points were awarded as follows:
RCS/Reaction Control System - 1 point
Apollo - 1 point
CSM, Command and Service Module, or even just service module - 1 point.

So the scores are as follows:
Mozo - 1/2 mark
Aldomak - 1 mark (Command Module) - I'm being picky here as the Saturn V was only the booster (ie only the first three stages) - Apollo (the CSM and LM) was mounted on top.
Grounded - 1/2 mark (it was not on the LM)
Goretex - 2 marks (Apollo and CSM)
Mags - 3 points!!!!

SO Mags was going to win, but my essay plagiarism software detected a simple Cut and Paste from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reaction_control_system
Tut, Tut...you loose all your marks making Goretex the (surprising!!!!) winner.

So yesterday - we did the whole NASA Geek think, complete with trips to the launch pads, and lunch with an astronaut.

TOday - was the Disney Animal Kingdom. With the original Lion King show....but even better was "Finding Nemo - The Musical". Ended up absolutely soaked on the river rapids so went home, then back out to the Rainforest Cafe...ended up sharing a "Volcano" for desert!
