Hout Bay Sunset from Chapmans Peak

The lovely R and I have had a day to ourselves today with tonight culminating in being treat by R's cousin R and his wife L to a meal at Chapmans Peak... it was a thank you meal for all that R has done to help them with their house back in the UK... all big boys rufty tufty stuff!

During the day we went on a mystery tour and nearly ended up at Stellenbosch, r had been trying to find somewhere and had got the wrong road! So we had a steers burger and then made our way back via Constantia for a walk in the woods (all very innocent I promise you!).

Before the meal we went up to Chapmans Peak to watch the sun set and were treat to a truly fantastic sunset!

Whilst this photo may not be perfect, its not too bad either.

The meal was excellent, I had Calamari for starters and the main was the African Feast which was Ostrich, Kudu and Springbok Steak with mash and a berry sauce. It was all very very scrumptious (apologies to any vegetarians reading!). We had a lovely night out and have to send a very big thank you to R & L! Thank you xxx
