Ahh

This is the view from a fantastic little route along the Annecy-Albertvile cycle track. Well, a left turn off the cycle track and then up up up to Col de L'Epine and beyond. Despite us buying an OS map of the area just before we came over, the cycle track was newer than our map, so I got a bit lost trying to get to the bottom of this hill, going off the cycle track and back/forward through little towns, before I realised that the track went all the way. Doh. That'll be an extra 45 mins onto my cycle today! However, it was definitely worth it. Barely a soul to be seen on the way up, and the same around the top where this was taken. I passed an old french country gent sat in blue overalls, sitting outside his chalet in the sun. I think he thought I was from another planet or something, the way he looked over at me. But that was about it. Didn't see anyone else until I got near the bottom on the other side after a fantastic swervy, fast, cheeky downhill. Fun!
