HB and I drove up 500 miles from the south coast Friday night and Saturday morning to get to Aberfeldy for the middle distance tri. It was HB's chance to conquer the nutrition demons from his last race in France, so it was all very last minute but worth it for moments and views like this. While the race was on, I did my own mini tri, cycling a good bit of the course - I took this pic up near the top of Shiehallion - and then running after to cheer on Mr B. He was running so good that when I started to run alongside him, I couldn't keep up. Not hard, admittedly, given my speed at the minute, but he was def running strong. So HB had a good day and so did I, soaking in the sunshine and enjoying the stunning scenery.
