Spitfire

A trip to the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery today. Finally got to see a small selection of items from the Staffordshire Hoard, but sadly photography was not allowed there. So, instead, here's a pic of a Spitfire, a permanent resident of the museum. I was quite surprised how small the plane was. It still amazes me that the laws of physics allow this kind of thing to fly.
