queen mother's house

had a tour of the royal botanic gardens here in edinburgh today with a friend for her birthday - i have known the gardens for many years, but have never seen this before - reminiscent of victorian shell grottoes though this wasn't nearly so ornate. but still beautiful!

should have said - these walls are covered in shells that were gathered by local school children
