Sunflower

I have been wanting to photograph the sunflowers before they are past their best and I think I was just in the nick of time.

I used the 100mm macro on a tripod - I need to practise more with this combination.

This morning I took my Mum to the Summer Fayre in Hexham. You have never seen so many jewellery stalls. Met up with After the Rain and her husband. We had a good chat about photography and I was able to pick her brains about technique. J introduced me to blipfoto - thanks, I'm enjoying it a lot.
