Monsieur Crab

This is a close up shot of my middle daughter's crab.

She opted for Crab Mayonnaise off the predominantly fishy menu when dining in Dieppe last Saturday. When it arrived, all shells and claws and pincers she was utterly delighted, having been asking if I would buy lobster so she could eat it out of the shell for some time now.

Her big sis would have been mortified - she found it tedious enough that her Poulet Frites came with the chicken on the bone!! But daughter #2 approached her dinner with gusto, scraping every last bit of meat out of the claws I cracked whilst wincing and imagining they were just nuts at Christmas....

We brought the shell home and plan to do a shoebox aquarium that it can have pride of place in.

It still stinks!
