Look, a new toy!

I'm back in town but nature is being brought home to me, in a manner of speaking.

Mime the cat caught a rodent and brought it indoors to us. This is not the variety they like to eat for supper so it has more entertainment value. It's a cruel game to watch, how the cats play with these little creatures, but it is the natural order of things so who am I to question it.

The rodent is still somewhere within the apartment, we need to locate it to get rid of it before the night falls. I'd hate to think Mime carried it in our bed while we are sleeping...
