Pitsligo Kirkyard
Up on the coast again this weekend, made a visit to Pitsligo Kirkyard which is perhaps most famous for the kilted angels. Lots of interesting old stones, but the kilted angels didn't stand out very well for photography ... neither did the memorial to some of Rupert Murdoch's ancestors. Weather wasn't great but as the saying goes you need to "make use of the light we have" so here is a pic of a 17th Century memento mori for Alexander, Lord Pitsligo built into the wall of the old kirk.
