summer discovery

We have just returned from a fantastic week of camping. We are very fortunate as we can camp privately at the the kids' Grandma's farm - a perfect setting, with a river flowing past and views to catch your breath on...

The joy of having endless space and peace (well as peaceful as life can be with 5 kids!) was immense and enriching.

This blip is of this morning after our dip in the river and the three year old is making her way back to the tent in her own time. What made her stop and look - I just don't know.

But it was a moment to me that summed up our time together - slow and absorbing - wonderful indeed.
