PAPO - Sebastian in front of Old City Hall

Today is Plein Air Paint Out (PAPO) day in Bellingham. Downtown and around there are 25 artists painting outdoors. I positioned myself by the Old City Hall building and painted this sculpture by Sebastian against the building. I spent the morning getting the shapes and values in place. Then I gathered my materials and went to have lunch with some of my painting buddies. After that I went home to get ready to go to my brother and sister-in-law's to see my nephew and his wife before they head back to Las Vegas. One of my favorite ways to spend a day - painting followed by time with friends and family.
