Chaos

Busy busy day at work, then shot home at 3pm to get away for the weekend. We left at 5 ...

Heading to Lake Tekapo with friends to ski Roundhil for the weekend. We "bumped" into them, as in passed them in Fairlie at the old Library Cafe. Stopped and had dinner with them,. A shame the food and service wasn't that flash.

Then onto Tekapo and our home for the weekend. First priority, kids in bed. However, that wasn't really theirs. We got them in bed by 9, an ultimatum of 10 for lights out and no talking, which inevitably stretched to nearly 11pm!

Thank goodness we had immersed ourselves in conversation (and wine) and tried to ignore it.

Hopefuly we won't pay for it tomorrow ...
