Hootsmon

The old offices of The Scotsman newspaper in Edinburgh, where I once worked. The paper is known affectionately (sometimes unaffectionately) as "The Hootsmon" by its staff. The building was sold and the company moved to new offices in 1999, and the old premises were turned into a luxury hotel. I've contemplated staying in a room where I used to work, but I am afraid I would have strange and disturbing dreams.
