Head for heights
This is the ceiling of one of my favourite pubs. It's an old traditional Victorian place that is always full, with a happy mixture of locals and tourists (some of whom are reflected in the mirror, bottom left). There was a band playing tonight - bit of a racket, to be honest, with some woeful between-songs jokes - but the crowd enjoyed it. I was distracted by the magnificent ceiling, and got a close-up from the gallery. It must be ten metres high at least - whoever painted it surely had a head for heights.
