To be missed or not to be missed

The Get Carter car park. An icon of the North East soon to disappear. For so long it has dominated our horizon with an air of intimidation and strength but latterly perhaps a symbol of deprivation and despair.

To see it looking so weak and vulnerable is such a contrast to everything it stood for and hoped to be when it was first concieved.
