Advocates Close

The Festival has been a slightly distant blur for us this year - closer than the previous two years since we actually managed to see 2 things, but still not exactly in the thick of it.

Through for nephew Number 2's birthday party, which consisted of a picnic somewhere on the road to Peebles. Later on we left junior with the grandparents and had a meal (Cafe Andaluz - pretty much as good as the Glasgow West End one) and a comedy show (Stand "Best of Scottish" show - Janey Godley reliably funny, The Parrot great fun, and the opening act pretty standard for an opening act). So, a good weekend.
