Toilet Stats...

Apparently there was a recent survey of 1165 women flagged up a 54% figure around men's bathroom etiquette namely the leaving of the toilet seat up.

I've never understood this in all the times I've heard it. I always thought that the seat being up is a sign that due care and attention has been taken and there was no rogue aiming through the seat. Even if it is just about it being down in preparation for the ladies, why should it be that way and by that logic it makes equal sense to leave the seat down or up.
