The Church of Our Lady before Tyn - Prague day 1
Busy busy weekend!!! Flew out on Friday morning, got there to our v nice hotel that the bride and groom had organised for us. Thankfully the suits made it with us, was vvvv worried as we were transporting both ushers suits and the best mans. Quick rest and turn around to go out for a meal in Prague old town.
Alfie in general was v good, bit over loud but..... He has been on planes, trains, automobiles, trams and buses this weekend and handled it all really well, us not so much at times. Let ourselves get a tad paranoid about his behaviour.
Good meal and then the 3 of us split from the main group to go for a walk (mainly to find a different tube station that didn't involve the hugely long escalator, aparently my dormant phobia is still in place!!!). We ended up in the square by accident and it was fab, all lit up and stalls selling food and more importantly Czech beer :D. We were looking for milk for Alfie but it would have been rude not too, particularly as I had been good and only had water with my meal.
It looked so amazing, and all my silly worries about going slipped away, Alfie loved the horses pulling the carriages. The journey back to the hotal was fine too, public transport there is sooo good. and no long escalators, thank you Tereza!!!
p.s. photos not too good, lack of time and no flash or tripod with me.
