they came from outer space......

actually they come from the bottom of my garden. was putting up fencing today and while moving the old stuff i found a rather large group of snails. (i searched wikipedia for the proper term for a group of snails but couldn't find one)

Heliciculture is apparently the name given to the farming of snails, if anyone really cares.
anyway there must have been about 40 of the buggers lying about and although i took a few shots of the lot of them together i prefered the close up shots. just liked the detail on them.
not got a lot to say just now, mrs McD has the heating on and my tattoo just slid of my arm. yep it's that hot. this is nae good fir a wee lad fae leith.
