Fife across the Forth

This morning the kettle that has been boiling water every day without incident for about 20 years suddenly stopped working. Not with a bang, or even a whimper. After work I was scurrying along to John Lewis to buy a replacement and happened to notice Fife looking rather nice beyond the trees and the Forth.

I tried to take a life.turns of Dave when we got home, but failed so badly to fit the template that had to settle for the blip of his native heath.

The new kettle seems fine. Wonder if this one will last 20 years?
