Living Statue.

This was the first time I managed to get sometime alone, and as wonderful as it is to be spending time with my family and friends, I desperately needed space to just wander around my old home town. What a mixture of emotions I found as I walked from Princess Street, thro the Gardens, up the Mound and then into the madness of the Royal Mile during Festival time! The energy was amazing, the colourful and entertaining acts was a welcomed distraction from the emotional upheaval of the past few days.
