Home safe and sound

The night away didn't go great. We'd been lent a pram top for her to sleep in, but she didn't much like it. Didn't like it at all in fact. So spent most of the night cuddled with mummy, and then on a makeshift bed made from pillows. And mummy.

We got a (very) early call to say her brother 'is being dropped off early, come get him'. Katie and I simply weren't ready! So Aunty Sue stepped in and went off whilst Katie and I enjoyed a quiet start to the day. We headed off back for Scarborough in really bad sleet and wind. About 40 minutes in, her brother was violently sick.

We were home midmorning and boy was Katie ready for a snuggle with Mummy and a sleep in more familiar surroundings. We were ready for a chinese takeaway for tea.
