New "kid" on the block!

Winston, one of the park veterans, made a new friend today. The new kid, name of Brownie, is only two years old. Today he met Gulliver and Winston and probably some other dogs too. Brownie is bouncy, excessively friendly, and adorable. He reminded me of Tigger. If you are a fan of Winnie-the-Pooh, I am sure you know what I mean.

Today was the grandkids' first day back at school. Michael started high school and Emmy is in eighth grade. I made them a special after school snack, took it over and put it in their refrigerator as a surprise, then later we took them to a new Mexican restaurant for supper because their mom and dad had to work.

Busy day! It's good to just sit down and relax for a while this evening.
