Door to Another World

This is an "observation" point on the South Bay Salt Ponds near Alviso California.

Without going into it in great detail, this is part of a reclamation project on recovering a lot of the land, flora and fauna in the south part of the San Francisco Bay. Originally, served by Morton salt, this area was given up and reclaimed for recreation and conservation.

This is my first visit in a long time and it is a vast improvement to what I remember only 15 years ago.
