Sunshine (after the rain)

I took this snap along the delightfully historic streets of Chester.

I had ventured there on a two-train-trek with my trio of offspring plus a pair of other mums who each brought a child along too. Our quest was rhinos, come rain or come shine and we ended up with both weather variants and around 50 different rhino snapshots.

The painted statues of the beasts are part of 'Wild In Art' which has seen many examples of painted critters around the world. The ones I have managed to see have been the superlambananas in Liverpool (summer '08), Go Penguins in Liverpool (Winter '09), Newport Superdragons (this summer) and Rhinomania in Chester this summer also.

There are several large Rhino designed and sponsored by a range of contributors plus some smaller ones designed by local schools. They are lovely to see and following the trail is a great way to get about, see a city, be active and save pennies!!

We had a grand day out and I look forward to the next herd!
