A little bit of learning

I got myself a book on B&W photography yesterday and I thought I'd try to take one lesson at a time and try my best. A little bit of learning never hurts I guess.
This is a small patch of land planted with Eucalyptus trees somewhere near the farm and I thought the peeling bark would be a good first subject.
