BEACONSFIELD TRAIN STATION
A small town near my usual residence is Beaconsfield, now not so small, this is in one of Melbournes high growth areas. The station is still small town though, not maned after hours, and very little in the way of extra services, security etc..
As you can see it is very well lit on yet another rainy night.
Beaconsfield got it's name, although 30 k's from the bay and more than 50 from it's mouth, once had beacons lit to guide ships into Port Phillip Bay. With a high hill and unobstructed view from the bay, ship would line up with these fire beacons for a safe entry into the bay.
