Passed on from grandma

this lovely bangle is the only item I have from either of my grandmothers. It used to belong to my maternal grandmother, who died before I even made it to this planet.
She was a housekeeper, and the few photos I have seen of her show a stout, strong lady, reminiscent of Maw from The Broons.
It is hard to imagine her wearing this, my mum gave me it earlier this year, and I was knocked out by it, it's the exact kind of item I would pick out for myself.
I don't know anything about it's backstory, as my people (me excepted) are not very sentimental, but I do think of that lady I never got to meet every time I wear it.
