Wind and Wave

Yesterday you may remember I headed out to shoot wind and waves only to discover that the wind was blowing from the wrong direction. Well, overnight it shifted to exactly the opposite direction, so, blip on, I headed back to the same location, Kilmichael Point just 5 miles down the coast. The wind wasn't quite as strong as I would have liked but the upside of that was that at least the tripod wasn't being blown in 5 directions at once so I got a whole series of reasonable efforts. As I was shooting in RAW format, I haven't yet completed the required work on all of them but the few that have been done are ok. I know that lots of people like to speed up RAW processing by batch editing but I dont see the point of using RAW if I am not going to follow up by treating each file individually and trying to extract the best from it. However, that's just a personal preference and batch editing seems to work well for those who use it.
For the technogeeks out there, I used 2 neutral density filters, both 4x on my lens which allowed for a much longer shutter speed that normal so that I could record the movement made by the water during the time the shutter was open. Other than that all I have done is to tweak the levels a little and convert to black and white.
Hope someone enjoys it.
