Life with The Pinks

Butterfly butterfly

We've been to Jimmy's farm today. We met up with my friend Gill and her two children who are wonderful with the mini pinks. Jimmy's is undergoing lots of renovations to get the barn ready to be used as a restaurant and in preperation for the music festival "Harvest" that is on in September. It was still a fab day out. We fed the goats, visited the Guinea Pig village, picniced, played in the park and had allotment envy over Caela's garden (Jimmy's wife's veg patch). We also visited the butterfly house, which was full of lovely butteflies and plants. I wasn't lucky enough to have one land on me but there were some beautiful flutterbys in there. We had to visit the piggies as Jimmy's farm is all about the rare breed pigs, I however didn't see the electric fence warnings, and in trying to blip a very cute piglet, gave myself a shock!! The photos went down hill after that, but we did walk up into the woods for a bit of den building, and then some retail therapy in the farm shop - freerange sausages for the other pinks tomorrow night.
